Meet Amrish Patel, M.D.

Dr. Patel is a Fellowship trained hand and upper extremity surgeon. He focuses on diagnosing and treating all ailments of the arm including elbow, forearm, wrist, hand, and fingers. He offers non operative as well as surgical treatments including the latest minimally invasive techniques. Many conditions can be successfully treated without surgery.

Dr. Patel was raised in Memphis before moving to Houston for college. He got his degree in mechanical engineering from Rice University and, from there, went on to Loyola University Chicago for medical school. He trained at the University of Chicago for his residency and remained there for his fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery. During his medical training, Dr. Patel gained wide ranging experience from 3 Level 1 trauma centers, a burn center, and one of the top tumor programs in the country.

Following his medical training, Dr. Patel chose to return home to the south. He has been providing competent and compassionate care to his Georgia patients since graduating from his fellowship.

Dr. Patel enjoys taking advantage of Georgia’s outdoor activities including, hiking, biking, and kayaking.
