Following residency training, Dr. Patel pursued a Hand Surgery fellowship at the University of Connecticut
. There, under the direction of Dr. Kirk Watson, founder and former president of the New England Hand Society
, Dr. Patel gained immense experience in hand and microsurgery. During his fellowship, Dr. Patel presented his research at several local and national meetings, including the American Society for Surgery of the Hand
and the New England Hand Society. Furthermore, Dr. Patel has been acknowledged in the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and he has committed himself to many professional organizations.
Dr. Patel spends time educating his patients about their medical condition. In Dr. Patel's own words, "Listening to each patient's concerns and helping them return faster to a pain free and normal, productive lifestyle is what I strive to achieve everyday."
In his spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family. His current hobbies include playing basketball and racquetball, cooking, and traveling.

Dr. S. Benjamin Watson is a board eligible General Surgeon and a fellowship trained Hand Surgeon practicing in Atlanta. Dr. Watson is committed to offering the highest quality care of the hand, including diagnosis and treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions.
Dr. Watson attended the College of Staten Island, New York
attaining undergraduate honors in biological studies. Dr. Watson earned his medical degree from The School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
at the University at Buffalo, New York. Dr. Watson completed his General Surgery residency at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
, where he engaged in sepsis research under Chairman Dr. Stephen F. Lowry and has presented his research at national meetings including the Surgical Infection Society
and American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress. Dr. Watson was peer nominated and awarded the Prem Award as Intern of the Year, for his outstanding work ethic and exemplary patient care.
Following residency training, Dr. Watson completed his hand surgery fellowship at the University of Connecticut
where he was mentored by renowned hand and wrist surgeon Dr. H. Kirk Watson
yielding a vast experience in care of the upper extremity. Dr. Watson's research has been presented at the New England Hand Society and is published in the Journal of Hand Surgery.
In his time away from hand surgery, Dr. Watson enjoys spending time with his family and participating in sports and fitness.
Jose Baez, M.D.
Dr. Jose Baez is a General Surgeon and fellowship with extensive training in hand surgery. Now practicing in Atlanta, GA, Dr. Baez provides the highest quality of care for patients with conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow.
Dr. Baez came to the United Sates for his undergraduate education and studied at the University of Florida. After graduation, he returned to Puerto Rico, where he earned his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico. In medical school, Dr. Baez formed team of healthcare professionals interested in furthering cancer research.
Dr. Baez completed his residency in general surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City. During his residency, Dr. Baez was avidly involved in teaching and lecturing residents and medical students. He was recognized among his colleagues for his excellent bedside manners and compassionate care. Following residency training Dr. Baez completed his fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery, at The University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital.
